Heath Ledger signing habits, and some stuff in People Magazine.
Well, it's always sad when a talented individual dies. And, at 28, Heath Ledger joins a long line of celebrities that died from messing with drugs.
I've seen a few clips of him signing autographs, mixed in with movie clips. I thought the two movies they talk most about...The Patriot (with Mel Gibson) and Brokeback Mountain, were both lame films.
But, for a guy that was supposedly really shy, I've heard he was a great autograph signer.
Maybe his death will be a wake-up call to any other celebrities that dabble in drugs. Although, I just heard singer Amy Winehouse, who I love, has been seen smoking a crack pipe. I guess she will never go to rehab. No, no, no.
I saw an old People Magazine at work today. It was from December 24th, and had a Q&A with Jordin Sparks, who shot to fame with American Idol, being the youngest winner. She talks about tattoos (because of a song she has called Tattoo), boyfriends, and her dad, former NFL star Phillippi Sparks.
Since she was probably around him when he signed a handful of autographs, she'll probably be good about signing. The last question asked:
Do you have any celeb crushes? Her answer: "I used to have a crush on Hanson. And I love Brad Pitt. It got around to him that I thought he was really cute, because I went home and there was a signed picture of him. I flipped out!
(I wish the story would've been more detailed, on how it was acquired, but oh well).
In the same issue, was a story I heard from a friend last month. In my town of San Diego, the 12-story Hard Rock Hotel, features a suite designed by Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.
And, what do they decide to decorate the walls with? Some of her sweat suits, that are signed.
Kind of lame, unless you're a hard core Fergie fan.
Now, when she played a festival here years ago (San Diego Street Scene), she wet her pants. It was national news. Maybe, if they took those pants, and had them framed in the bathroom, that would be interesting.
She stated the obvious, in the caption for the photo: "I'm so glad that track suit is on the wall. I'm never wearing it again!"
