The much-hyped auction of the Osbourne's personal items has finally ended, and Ozzy and his family ended up making $800,000 for the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program. They kept calling it a "garage sale," but no garage sale we've even been to brought in bids like this one did.

The much-hyped auction of the Osbourne's personal items has finally ended, and Ozzy and his family ended up making $800,000 for the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program. They kept calling it a "garage sale," but no garage sale we've even been to brought in bids like this one did.

A press release joked about metalheads bidding alongside folks who prefered fine art. After all, the Osbournes had a sculpture by French artist Edouard Drouot, which went for $10,500. But people don't want to know about that; they're more interested in the shoes with skulls on them-those fetched $2,625. The John Lennon style sunglasses, which have become on Ozzy trademark, went for over five grand, and a bat coat went for $3,300. Ozzy said he felt bad selling the pool table ($11,250), because he cherished the memories of his kids playing it (Mr. Osbourne is a regular family man at times-he only bites the heads of animals in concert).

For rock 'n' roll collectors, the most interesting item (if only because it came from another musician) was a bed for their dog, which was a gift from Elton John that sold for $2,375. Another lucky fan will get to enjoy the memory of a winning bid each morning with a hot cup of coffee-Ozzy's coffee mug was won for $1,500. Anyone out there wish they had been given this last piece instead of that "World's Greatest Dad" mug currently in use?
