The store Dave & Barry's continues to bring in big names for autograph signings. Check their ads in newspapers, depending on which cities you live. Amanda Bynes, the actress from Hairspray...and singer, has a new line of clothing called "Dear". That store is strict about "one autograph per person" so my Hairspray soundtrack wasn't signed.

When an NBA player was there, my friend told me it was the same thing. I believe it was Stephon Marbury, who has a line of shoes that is inexpensive (under $15).

Yet, when tennis great Venus Williams was at the store in San Diego a few days ago, I opted not to go. And, my buddies tell me she was signing tennis rackets, and all kinds of other items, even though signs everywhere said "one autograph per person."

Just my luck.
