A Jeopardy! contestant talks about his autographed baseball.
I never watch the show Jeopardy! It just makes me realize how much I didn't pay attention in school.
But, it was on today when the news finished. I was at the computer, and to lazy to get up and change the channel. When it came time for Alex to go and interview the contestants, one guy said he collected baseball autographs and that he was most proud of a baseball he had with 12 Hall of Famers that have signed it. He said, "It started when I was a kid and my dad got it with Dizzy Dean's signature on it for me."
He added, "...and I've never paid for any of them, which I'm really proud of."
I found that comment funny, because as he was saying this, I was thinking how easy it is to get a ball signed by Hall of Famers, since so many of them do signings at sports memorabilia shows. Until he said that.
Alex said, "Do you have room on the ball for any more autographs?"
He responded, "If they have really small names."
