The President just got an autograph from Air Force One.

So, in San Diego and Los Angeles, the fires are finally put out. Put, obviously, houses aren't still re-built.

A few actors that were in Malibu, are still living elsewhere.

And down in San Diego, a few of the athletes have been living with relatives in other cities, or nearby areas of San Diego that weren't hit.

I was surprised when some of the athletes, like new Charger receiver Chris Chambers, was doing a food drive at the stadium the other day. They're still thinking about others, when their own teammates are dealing with their homes and relocating.

One story I found interesting. Jay Jeffcoat, a former president of San Diego Sports International, met President Bush when he was in town surveying the damage of the fires. Jeffcoat was talking about some of the sports memorabilia he had in his house that burned down. He mentioned a baseball that Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan had autographed for his son....namesake Ryan.

President Bush said when he hopped on Air Force One he'd call Nolan Ryan and get another ball signed for him.

Now...that is why they call the President the most powerful man in the world.
