The Godfather of punk deals with a theft
I'm an Iggy Pop fan. And, like others, wonder why he hasn't made it into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame yet.
I've gotten his autograph a few times. And, bought a few signed things from companies; one being a signed CD by his band The Stooges.
Last Monday, a rental truck containing the bands equipment was stolen after a concert. The stage manager said the instruments and stage gear was worth tens of thousands of dollars, and the loss wasn't going to keep the band from making their next appearance in Toronto. Although, that show was going to rely on rented and donated gear.
I'm sure if this stuff is sold, it won't be advertised as "microphones that belonged to punk rocker Iggy Pop." Although, criminals have done stupider things.
