When you're a Jet, you're a jet....

Sorry. Football and musical scores just seem to go hand in hand.

So, after Brett Favre created a major distraction in Green Bay, by saying he'd retire, then coming back, then retiring, and then demanding a trade. He ended up with the New York Jets. I saw on CNN today, they were making jerseys with his name on it. Those should sell well.

On his website, he sells autographed jerseys, footballs, photos, and magazines. They are on the pricey side, though.

Topps, the leader in sports cards, hedged their bets on Favre. They put out two cards. One had him retired, on a tractor. The other has him in a Packers uniform, with the late coaching legend Vince Lombardi in the background

These will be rare cards, too. There will be one for every 12,000 packs. So, good luck.

No word yet on if they'll throw a Jet card into the mix, but I seriously doubt it.
