Thieves stealing a poets sword.
The Associated Press reported that in Nicarague, robbers stole a ceremonial sword that belonged to Nicaraguan poet Ruben Dario, from a museum. The strange thing (at least to us autograph collectors), was that they left behind very valuable, original manuscripts. They were untouched during the robbery.
The unidentified robbers were probably more attracted to the shiney, sharp sword, and not just some words written on paper. Oh well.
