A Babe Ruth Hat breaks records.

So, which of you out there will be the first to get Barack Obama or his wife Michelle to sign that cover of the New Yorker? Oh, you know some autograph hound is going to. Just like the person that had Hillary Clinton sign the Monica Lewinski book.

Hey, I'm watching David Letterman right now. Meryl Streep is the guest. Right before the commercial, they showed her coming in, and signing lots of autographs for the fans outside. Good for them, and nice of her.

I heard in an auction today (Hunt Auctions), that a baseball cap worn by Babe Ruth went for a record $328,000. The sweat-stained cap was from the 1920s, and sold with other Yankees memorabilia.

Hunt Auctions says only three Yankees hats are in existence, that were worn by Ruth during games, and that a hat used by a player has never sold for over $100,000.

My mom would say, "If you're paying that much for it, they should at least have the sweat stains cleaned out of it."
