I was watching Conan O'Brien last night. Comedic actor Denis Leary was on. He said he is often mistaken for Willem Daffoe (lucky him). He said to Conan "Sometimes, I'll even sign his name."

That reminded me of when Jeff Daniels said on The Tonight Show, that he is called Jeff Bridges often. And he's sometimes signed his name. I have to think, these autographs would be interesting collectables. A famous person signing another name. Although, I'm sure the person that receives them, doesn't even realize it. They'll just always think it's that original person they thought.

When I saw Bow Wow Wow in concert (which is my favorite 80s band, and one of the most underrated bands of all-time)...I actually helped get the opening band the gig. They're called The Glossines, and are great.

Their lead guitarist is Asian, and she was mistaken for Bow Wow Wow singer Annabella. She said in an interview that she signed Annabella's name, too.

So, for all you collectors out there, make sure you're getting the name right when you yell for them to sign.
