George Clooney and Renee Zellweger sign autographs where?
I was in Las Vegas for the weekend, and didn't see a lot of autograph stuff going on in any publications or on TV. Yet, when I open the newspaper, there it all is.
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi signing campaign signs and things at the California Democratic Party State Convention in San Jose. Again, during election time, that's when you're most likely to get a politician that can usually be hard (because of security, etc.).
Then I read a story about George Clooney and Renee Zellweger, promoting their new movie Leatherheads. It was a promotional stop in Greenville, South Carolina, where many of the movie scenes were shot.
Clooney, who is always very funny and personable, was telling everyone that Renee's favorite scenes were when they were kissing.
Of course, George, who is often named one of Autograph Magazine's best signers, didn't disappoint. He and Renee (who is often a difficult signer), greeted several hundred fans, took photos with them, signed autographs, and even got keys to the city.
Leatherheads, written by a couple of Sports Illustrated writers, inspired by a 1920's football team, will open this Friday.
