An interesting piece of memorabilia up for auction.
People are so crazy. Let me explain.
My parents ran into a guy that owns a record store up north. He mentioned something about there being no existance of any Beatles signatures all together, and if you see them, they're forgeries. My parents said, "My son has one." He didn't believe it.
There are lots out there. The strange thing is when, people think the ones they own are worth so much more.
My friend just sent me this story from an auction house, about one of Elvis' "Memphis Mafia" getting the Fab Four to sign a piece of Elvis stationary. Now, that's cool. But, not as cool as a Beatles album signed. And, it's surely not worth the $50,000 they expect to get for it. Now, if, it was signed by the King also, then yeah, the skies the limit on what it's worth. I'm guessing a few hundred thousand.
You see a lot of items turn up at auctions that some of Elvis' friends had. This, will be interesting to watch. The story below:
Dang it.....my computer is acting weird, and it's not connecting.
Anyway, it was the day before a show in my hometown of San Diego. The Beatles and Elvis sang together with a song on the jukebox. That's kinda cool. And, one of the Kings guys got the Beatles to sign, on Elvis stationary. And, one of the Fab Four dated the signature, which is nice.
If you're interested....Google it.
